Seven Up’s On The Jericho Road
Based on Jesus’ parable of the good samaritan found in Luke 10:25-27, this sermon highlights the importance of sacrificing self in order to be a blessing to others.
On the Jericho Road, there were seven actions undertaken by the good samaritan who saw a man lying half-naked, badly beaten, bleeding, and nearly unconscious on the side of the road — the man was a victim of a robbery. And just like that good samaritan, we too, often find ourselves standing at a crossroads, contemplating rather or not to sacrifice our comfort and convenience and go out of our way to help those in need — those who God places in our paths. Come and discover the steps needed to impact those around you.
